Description

”Hold on to my hand”
This engraving work belongs to the ”tamata project”.
”Tama or taximo” refers to the tradition of the conscious commitment of offering to our God. It is a spiritual act that has been encountered since ancient times and across many different religions. It leads us to the purity of our souls. It presupposes a calm and mature mind and full awareness of what and to whom we promise.

”Hold on to my hand. I will be here for you. You can trust me.”

The engraving technique used for this piece belongs to the family of relief printing, the oldest engraving method that appeared in the West in the 14th century. Specifically this is a linocut. The design is engraved on a sheet of linoleum with cutters and gouges. Only the parts that protrude from the matrix are printed and the representation is shown upside down. Printing is done by hand.

This is an original and limited edition work of art. It will add a contemporary artistic touch to your space. It is a valuable decorative object in your living room, bedroom or working area. It may also serve as a perfect gift for your friends, to whom you would like to express your commitment for love and care.
