This is a mixed media piece of work,the idea of which emerged from the Linocuts “emotions” project.

It is a tribute to motherhood ; The bond between mother and child,this wonderful and complex relationship.
The engraving technique used for this piece belongs to the family of relief printing, the oldest engraving method that appeared in the West in the 14th century. Specifically, this is a linocut. The design is engraved on a sheet of linoleum with cutters and gouges. Only the parts that protrude from the matrix are printed and the representation is shown upside down. Printing is done by hand.
